About the Client Reflection Sheet

This client-friendly worksheet offers a simple structure for noticing and recording experiences that may occur between EMDR sessions. As trauma memory networks continue integrating information, individuals may notice emotional waves, dreams related to therapy themes, body sensations connected to past experiences, or new insights emerging. The worksheet encourages clients to briefly note these experiences without analyzing them in depth. This information can then be reviewed collaboratively during the next therapy session to support ongoing processing, stabilization, and treatment planning. This resource is intended for educational and informational purposes for licensed mental health professionals. It is not a substitute for formal EMDR training, clinical supervision, consultation, or independent clinical judgment. Clinicians are responsible for determining the appropriateness of all interventions based on each client’s individual needs and circumstances.
